Clear Choice Home Inspections was born from the passion and expertise of its Owner, Jayme Clarke. In 2006, Jayme embarked on a journey to establish a trusted name in the industry. Armed with a North Carolina Home Inspector's license (License Number: 2651) and a North Carolina General Contractor License (License Number: 62849), Jayme set out to provide top-notch inspection services to the community.
Jayme Clarke brings a wealth of expertise to every inspection. He has decades of property
management, maintenance and repair experience and fully understands construction from the
foundation to the roof. His journey began with a degree in Environmental Science from UNCW,
further enriched by postgraduate studies at NC State University. A former BPI, Building Performance Analyst, Jayme has a keen interest in energy efficiency and moisture control.
We support local communities with donations to “Shop with a Cop” through the Johnston County
Fraternal Order of Police, North Carolina Autism Society, Johnston County YMCA, Smithfield
Rescue Mission, various animal rescue organizations, help support the Clayton Police through their annual calendar program and are a member of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce.

Our home inspection process is designed to provide our clients with a comprehensive understanding of the condition of their potential purchase or their existing home. During the inspection, we thoroughly examine all major systems and components of the home, from the roof to the foundation.

We provide a detailed report, delivered the day after the inspection, with our findings, including photos
and recommendations for repairs and maintenance. Clients and Realtors rave about our report clarity and how

On-Site Review
After the inspection, we review our findings with our clients on-site. We answer any questions they may
have and provide them with a clear understanding of the condition of the home.
